“I may not be a better technician than before I broke my hand, but I know I’m a better musician. And I’ll remain forever grateful.”
~ Lisa Spector
When a bizarre fall caused seven complicated fractures to my right hand (needing four surgeries), my hand therapist told me I’d never play piano again.
First my hand was crushed, then my soul. I was devastated and wanted to give up.
I know what you’ve been through. Whether you have arthritis, a hand injury from playing your instrument, or experiencing an emotional setback preventing you from playing your beloved instrument, I’m here to help.
Let’s create a community together in the Resilient Musicians Club. A place where we support each other in our recovery, learn to live in the present moment with our physical challenges, and even develop gratitude habits that help us pick up our instruments again and play on!
I may not be your doctor, but I can be your Play On Coach, guiding you in the right direction to making music again!
Your medical team helps with your physical progress, I help with your emotional progress. Think of me as your Resilience Coach and in the Resilient Musicians Club we understand and support each other’s emotional progress, no matter where we’re starting.
I look forward to being your personal PLAY ON coach, helping you return to your instrument, making music again with joy and confidence, inspiring you to play on so that music feeds your soul and enhances your life!
